What Does Aromatherapy Do?

Have you ever woken up in the morning with a pounding headache and only one nostril barely squeaking out an exhale while the other one overflows with snot?

Want to know what all-natural, super quick, and easy-to-use remedy works to open up your poor stuffy little nose and relieve the congestion headache you're suffering from?!

Feeling a little more refreshed and ready to show up for the day? Good! Just take a small drop and rub it on the exterior of each nostril, take as much of a breath in through your nose as you can, and let the tension dissipate.

Essential oils are what are extracted from various parts of different plants, usually by way of distillation. Some oils, such as tea tree oil, are great as a topical treatment for skin conditions like acne because of their anti-inflammatory, cleansing properties.

Even out and brighten your skin tone by adding a few drops of Frankincense to your nightly skin cream and let the warm, soothing scent lull you to sleep.

Aromatherapy uses essential oils by diffusing or using their scents medicinally to care for the body, mind, and spirit and has been used for thousands of years. One of the most popular ways to include your favorite essential oil in your day-to-day routine is to vaporize it into the air in your environment using a diffuser!

They come in super sleek, stylish designs nowadays too!

Great to have in your room with a few drops of lavender oil at night to help improve your quality of sleep and reduce stress. Those are just a couple of the ways essential oils support your wellness.

They can also help to manage pain, reduce anxiety, treat headaches and migraines, fight bacteria, fungus, and viruses, improve digestion and boost immunity (a fall/winter season MUST).

In my next post, I’ll show you the Different Ways to Use Essential Oils! Find out the best blends for productivity or to enhance sleep.
